(such as casual walking and dress shoes). These types of shoes are
usually used for standing and light to moderate walking, activities
that don't usually require extra cushioning the way high impact sports

The Powerstep
Concept
Dr. Les Appel created the Powerstep SlimTech 3/4 orthotic arch supports
as an effective over the counter alternative to custom-made orthotics.
They were designed to be a serious motion control arch support that
was considerably more comfortable then typical hard plastic orthotics,
designed to give a similar level of support. Powerstep SlimTech orthotic
arch supports 3/4 Length are an effective treatment for a number of
common problems related to over pronation including plantar fasciitis,
bunions and heel spurs as well as painful alignment problems in the
ankle and knee. |

Powerstep SlimTech 3/4 orthotic arch supports feature a prescription
like polypropylene arch support covered with a thin layer of cushioning
foam and a special patented Sanitize ETC™ fabric (blue). The Sanitize
ETC™ fabric's special weave reduces slippage and friction (and therefore
heat and perspiration). Sanitiz ETC™ fabric is treated with an anti-bacterial/anti
fungal application so the Powerstep SlimTech orthotic arch supports
3/4 Length stay fresh and odor free even after considerable use. |
