PediFix Gel Smart™
gel hammertoe crest pads are made from pure medical grade mineral
oil infused thermoplastic elastomer. A thermoplastic elastomer is
not silicone gel but it is still very soft, it still slowly defuses
mineral oil over time which helps to soften skin and it is still hypoallergenic
(no latex). PediFix Gel Smart™ gel hammertoe crest pads are
not quite as soft as our pure silicone Gel Hammertoe Crest Pads but
they are considerably more durable and are a little more aggressive
in their hammertoe spreading capacity.

Pedifix Gel Smart™
gel hammertoe crest pads are not made from latex based rubber but
they do have a slightly rubbery consistency. They are not as soft
as our pure silicone gel hammertoe crest pads so people with neuropathy
should consult their physician before using these gel hammertoe crest
pads.
|
For people that do not
have issues with neuropathy but also do not like our standard cloth
hammertoe crest pads because they are uncomfortable and/or feel that
our pure silicone gel hammertoe crest pads are too soft and/or not
durable enough, these PediFix Gel Smart gel hammertoe crest pads are
ideal. Their consistency is softer and easier on the toes than cloth
hammertoe crest pads but they are much more durable than pure silicon
gel hammertoe crest pads. Also, the PediFix Gel Smart gel hammertoe
crest pad’s loop is wide and easy to put on and since it is
stronger and thicker than our pure gel hammertoe crest pad, the loop
is much less apt to break.

| Pedifix Gel Smart™
gel hammertoe crest pads are non porous. They don’t absorb odors
and can be hand washed with mild liquid or bar soap as often as necessary. |
