These PediFix gel toe
caps are made from a very soft mineral oil impregnated thermoplastic
elastomer gel. This advanced oil-based polymer gel slowly releases
a medical grade mineral oil that softens and moisturizes skin. PediFix
gel toe caps helps protect against friction and pressure related injuries
such as blisters, corns and calluses. PediFix gel toe caps can also
be used to prevent or protect a bruised or black toe nail (runners
toe). They are also great for protecting a toe that has recently lost
a toenail. What's more, gel doesn't absorb odors and can be hand washed
with mild liquid or bar soap every day. Also, the PediFix gel toe
caps don't lose their cushioning or flatten out the way foam pads
do.

PediFix gel toe caps have
a vent hole at the tip of the toe. To a small degree the vent hole
helps moisture escape. This makes the PediFix gel toe cap more breathable
than any other gel toe cap on the market. While this is a small advantage,
it is a unique feature and does help reduce the buildup of perspiration
under the gel toe cap.

toe caps are about 2 inches long but they can be trimmed with scissors
(if needed) to make them shorter (for smaller toes such as the Pinky
toe). |
