SOF SOLE cushion insoles
are flat shoe inlays that can be trimmed to fit almost any pair of
shoes. SOF SOLE cushion insoles can be used alone or in conjunction
with other inserts, such as arch supports. SOF SOLE cushion insoles
provide a thin but long lasting cushion layer that absorbs shock and
makes shoes and arch supports more comfortable to wear.

SOF
SOLE insoles are made from a unique, patented foam material
called IMPLUS. IMPLUS was specifically designed to be made
into cushion insoles for shoes. The IMPLUS material itself
is a resilient rubber like material that is filled with tiny
bubble chambers. IMPLUS is an “Open Cell” foam
which means that each tiny bubble chamber is interconnected
to the bubbles around it. This “Open Cell” structure
makes SOF SOLE cushion insoles unusually shock absorbent for
such a thin dense insole. A similar insole that used a “Closed
Cell” structure where the bubble chambers were not interconnected
would feel much harder then a SOF SOLE cushion insole. Also

SOLE cushion insole means that the insoles
are porous and that they breathe. With every step, air flows through
the insole wicking away perspiration.

SOLE cushion insoles are completely flat so they are great to
use as covers for plastic arch supports; in shoes that can accommodate
them. This is especially useful in shoes such as running shoes,
walking shoes, hiking boots and some casual shoes. Often times
an arch support sits better in a shoe when the contoured insole
that came with the shoe has been removed. Unfortunately this
leaves the shoe with less cushioning and a loser fit in the
forefoot and toe area. With a SOF SOLE (full length) cushion
insole you can give your shoes back that extra cushioning and
improve the fit of the shoe, without affecting the fit or precision
design of over the counter arch supports or custom made orthotics.
