Spenco Gel Heel Cups
Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups are made from a dual density Thermo Polyurethane Rubber (TPR) Gel and are designed to put the superior cushioning power of gel right where it is needed most, under the heel. The heel is the part of the body that receives the most shock and impact especially when walking and running. Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups significantly reduce the pounding feeling of walking and running on hard surfaces such as concrete or in hard shoes such as leather soled dress shoes.


Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups have a gooey consistency that you would expect from a gel product and add noticeable and long lasting heel cushioning to any shoe. The Orange layer on the bottom of the Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups is an extra soft layer of TPR gel and is there to provide additional shock absorption and bounce in an anatomically designed shock dispersion pattern. Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups are naturally tacky and will hold their place in shoes without slipping around.

Gel heel cups are a little different from gel heel cushions in that they are usually a little thinner and have vertical walls that surround the base of the heel. A heel cushion is a wedge (without walls) that the heel sits on top of. Heel cushions are usually a little thicker (about 1/16 inch) than heel cups and take up more room in shoes. This can cause heel slippage in a variety of shoes especially dress and casual shoes. Heel cups like these Spenco Performance Gel Heel Cups, although a little thinner provide considerable gel cushioning and fit into almost any pair of shoes without changing the fit or causing heel slippage.
