SPENCO Orthotic Arch Supports (AKA Spenco Orthotic Insoles) are ¾ length nylon (plastic) arch supports that are covered with Spenco's classic green neoprene cushion material. SPENCO Orthotic Arch Supports are designed to support the medial and lateral arch. A SPENCO Orthotic Arch Support is ideal for people that need corrective support but have tried other higher or harder orthotics and arch supports and found them to be to uncomfortable to wear. The nylon support of the SPENCO Orthotic Arch Support is softer and more flexible then the plastics used in other, harder orthotics and arch supports. This means that people with naturally lower arches or people with extremely flat feet will find that these Spenco arch supports are more comfortable and easier to get used to then other higher and harder arch supports.

A "Break-In" arch support is an arch support of moderate to low height and rigidity that is used to help people adjust to the sensation of wearing an arch support. A break-in arch support still supports the arch and controls over-pronation but just not as much as the primary arch support; consequently, it feels more comfortable then the primary arch support and allows the foot to slowly adjust to its new corrected position.
